Q: What type of batteries do you sell? A: We specialize in high-quality automotive starting batteries for a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, and some powersports applications. We carry trusted brands like Canadian Energy, and offer various battery types such as traditional flooded lead-acid and maintenance-free options.
Q: How do I find the right battery for my vehicle? A: The best way to find the correct battery is to check your vehicle's owner's manual or the label on your existing battery for the BCI Group Size (e.g., Group 34, 51R, 65, H6/48, H8/49). You can also use our convenient search filters or use our battery finder tool.
Q: What do CCA, RC, and Ah mean? A:
- CCA (Cold Cranking Amps): This measures a battery's ability to start an engine in cold temperatures. A higher CCA rating means better starting power in winter.
- RC (Reserve Capacity): This indicates how long a battery can power essential accessories (like lights and ignition) if your alternator fails. It's measured in minutes.
- Ah (Amp-Hours): Primarily used for deep cycle batteries, Ah measures a battery's capacity to deliver a certain amount of current over a period. While primarily for deep cycle, it's also a general indicator of overall capacity.
Q: Are your batteries new? A: Yes, all batteries sold are brand new and come with a manufacturer's warranty.
Q: Do your batteries come with a warranty? A: Yes, all our batteries come with a manufacturer's warranty. The length and terms of the warranty vary by specific battery model and brand. Please refer to the individual product page for warranty details.
Ordering & Payment
Q: How do I place an order? A: Simply browse our selection, select the battery you need, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Follow the prompts to enter your delivery and payment information.
Q: What payment methods do you accept? A: We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept payments via Shop Pay, Google Pay, and Apple Pay for a quick and secure checkout experience.
Q: Can I cancel or change my order after it's placed? A: If you need to cancel or change an order, please contact us at contact@mobilebattery.ca or call our support desk at 866-709-2116. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that once an order has been dispatched for delivery, we may not be able to cancel or modify it.

Q: Where do you deliver? A: We proudly deliver across the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, British Columbia, including: Abbotsford, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Downtown Vancouver, Ladner, Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and White Rock.
We're adding more provinces and locations soon as we continue to improve our services.
Q: Do you offer Same Day Delivery? A: Yes, we offer Same Day Delivery for select products within our Lower Mainland delivery zones. To be eligible, orders must be placed by our daily cut-off time (typically [e.g., 1 PM PDT]). Look for the "Same Day Delivery" tag on product pages and at checkout.
Q: How long does delivery take?
- Same Day Delivery: If eligible and ordered by the cut-off, your battery will typically arrive within hours on the same business day.
- Standard Delivery: For orders placed after the cut-off or for products not eligible for same-day delivery, standard delivery usually takes [e.g., 1-2 business days] within the Lower Mainland. Exact delivery times depend on your specific location and current order volume.
Q: What are your delivery hours? A: Our delivery hours typically run from [e.g., 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM], Monday to Friday. We deliver some select products on weekends or statutory holidays.
Q: What if I'm not home for the delivery? A: If you won't be home, please provide clear delivery instructions in the order notes (e.g., "leave by front door" or "call me upon arrival"). We recommend ensuring a safe and secure location for the battery. If a secure drop-off isn't possible, our delivery driver may attempt to contact you to reschedule. Additional charges may apply for failed delivery attempts.
Q: Do you offer battery installation upon delivery? A: Currently, MobileBattery specializes in fast and convenient delivery of new batteries. We do not offer installation services with our delivery. We recommend booking online at mobilebattery.ca as most of our deliver team do not carry tools and not qualified to do so.
Returns & Exchanges
Q: Is there a return policy for batteries once they have been delivered to my location? A: To ensure the integrity and safety of our products, and due to the specialized nature of automotive batteries (including their weight, handling requirements, and the sensitivity to environmental factors once installed), all battery sales are considered final once the battery has been successfully dropped off at the specified delivery location.
This policy allows us to maintain strict quality control and offer competitive pricing. Please ensure you have ordered the correct battery for your vehicle before completing your purchase. We strongly recommend double-checking your vehicle's requirements against the battery specifications provided on our product pages.
Important Note: This "final sale" policy pertains to change-of-mind returns or incorrect orders. It does not affect your rights under the manufacturer's warranty for any defective batteries. If your battery is found to be defective within its warranty period, please refer to our for instructions on how to proceed.
Q: What if my battery arrives damaged or is incorrect? A: In the rare event that your battery arrives damaged please contact us at contact@mobilebattery.ca or call our support team at 866-709-2116 immediately within the day of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or return at no extra cost to you.
